An Active Learning Module is an interactive-video module. Each ALM is based on a single Active Learning Outcome. Each ALO is taught separately to ensure that all concepts are detailed sufficiently, and with adequate focus.
Several Knowledge Check Questions (KCQ) are embedded in each ALM to help students verify their understanding of the taught concepts. Each KCQ carries 1 mark.
One Attempt is available to the user to submit the KCQ responses. Upon submission KCQ scores are added in the gradebook into the Topic total.
The student may review the ALM as many times as required subject to Video Play Time validity.
What is a Summary Quiz Module?
SQ or Summary Quiz includes 5 questions covering all ALOs taught in the topic. Usually multi-choice, or True-False questions are included.
An SQ is a timed assessment. Students must complete the activity within 10 minutes of start. Any open attempts will be submitted automatically at the end of 10 minutes

- Quiz modules, Outcome review modules and others can be accessed via 2Learn app as well as normal browsers.
- Simple Games, Reports and Analytics, some blocks, and other activities will be supported on browsers only.
- Chrome browsers are preferred.
What is the advantage of VPT over the usual Number of Days (NoD) plans?
The usually offered ‘Number of Days’ (NoD) access plans are dysfunctional for students preparing for Semester-exams for several reasons.
- NoD plans are consumed by elapse of time even when there is no consumption by the user.
- They appear cheap for smaller number of days but become costly for more days.
- More often than not these plans lapse towards the end of the Semester – when students need them the most.
- Mostly these plans are device-locked and pin-down the student to a single machine – typically a mobile.
- Students cannot share a plan amongst themselves to bring down the total cost.
These and several other issues are addressed in the VPT access plan.
- VPT plans are available for 3 semesters.
- The login can be used via 2Learn app on any android device, and VPT plans can be shared simultaneously on multiple devices.
- Enough VPT hours are provided to comfortably complete the course and will run even beyond it.
- Plans can be topped up at any time.
How do I get a refund on unused VPT?
Unused VPT plans are not refundable.
How do I enroll in 2 paper codes of the same subject?
A user cannot simultaneously enroll in 2 (or more) paper codes in the same subject, If a user enrolled in code 1 attempts to enrol in code 2 in the same subject, the system will automatically unenroll them from the first code. In this case their VPT balance will be preserved in the 2nd code.
To overcome this feature, the student has to use separate email id and user name to create a separate user and then enrol in the 2nd code.
