Core2Learn

Core Jobs Readiness Program

Campus Placements are the cherished gateway for any professional education journey. They are the touchstone of success for the Individual, and the Institution alike. Job selections are ‘20% credentials, and 80% knowledge’ however, most colleges are disinterested to prepare, refresh and activate core subject knowledge of their wards close to crucial selections. This results in poor selections, adverse reputation, poor new-intake, and consequent cycle of poorer outcomes.

All too frequently college job-aspirants feel that they have long forgotten the subject matter hastily crammed for semester exams, that they have been exposed to only the long-form tests and not MCQs, and that at this late stage can they themselves dedicate the time and discipline to a systematic, rigorous schedule to repair and refresh the subject fundamentals essential for Campus Placement success. In the despair they feel grossly inadequate, disillusioned, and somewhat cheated of the challenge, and then leave everything to fate.
On the other hand, Colleges lead themselves to believe that they have done their duty during graduation semesters, and since they cannot re-teach and test for MCQ formats, they therefore turn a blind eye, and desert students to their own devices.
No wonder 80%+ students are deemed sub-par despite having all that an organization is seeking. The result is a lose-lose for all – students, colleges and employers.

Therefore, arises the need is to polish the rough edges, just in time for the tests – A systematic approach through which college and aspirants can synergize to rapidly Revise, Refresh and Re-Learn core fundamentals, using level-appropriate Active learning content, assessment and pedagogy, and to get better at successfully demonstrating their true knowledge and ability to potential recruiters.

Core2Learn is designed to be that intense transformative experience to re-do core engineering once-over again, with optimal time-effort-cost investment from all concerned stakeholders.

Rebuilding Core Competency

Core2Learn (C2L) is a 6-subject, 8 week intensive academic program for students of Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, and Computers branches at B.Tech, Diploma and Applied Sciences level who are looking for that one last chance to rapidly learn, relearn, prepare, and repair key core concepts and interview questions in a short period, and to get really-ready for Job Interviews, as well as the life beyond.

C2L can be implemented in Self-Study (Online) or faculty-led Guided (could be Online or Offline) mode.
In Self-Study mode, students study the lessons, take self-assessment, use Course Doubt Forum and StudentQuiz to work on their doubts, and collaborate with others for further enrichment.
In Guided-Study mode, Review Sessions are scheduled in round-robin sequence, each weekday for 8 weeks, and where the Faculty follows the portions laid out for each session, reviews student performance, clarifies doubts, rapid-fires most-expected questions to attendees, and exchanges latest industry developments to prepare students.

Students of core-branches, additionally seeking opportunities in CS-domain, may look at two programs sequentially – their core-subject program, as well as the CS-subject program – to build sufficient competency for all available opportunities.

Key Features

Core2Learn will forearm students to ace most placement challenges

Aligned to Placement Tests

C2L modules and tests are based on a careful analysis of several placement tests and interviews and feature previously-asked placement test questions.

Hinglish Delivery

With instructions, notes, and assessments in English, and teacher explanations in a mix of Hindi and English, the course delivery balances the need for lucid explanation with sufficient exposure to technical terminology.

Enriched Pedagogy

Colleges can implement Guided Mode in a Three-Step process for best results: Prepare, Practice, Perform. Students prepare themselves with Pre-Learn, Teachers make them practice past interview questions in Review Sessions, and lastly a series of Mock Interviews held between students can give them the vital conditioning to present and perform better.

Active Learning Pedagogy

Instead of passively receiving lessons, learners actively engage with content through Essential Learning Level activities including Interactive videos, Knowledge Check Questions, Summary Quiz Questions, KBL 1 games, Student Quiz, and  Course Master. User actions define their learning progression and performance across all subjects.

Power of Active Quiz

In the Guided Mode, Teachers can use Active Quiz tool to hold real time polls, and question analytics to uncover doubts and misconceptions. Re-Polling a similar question will effectively uncover student’s actual understanding.

Doubt Support

Course Doubt Forum is available in all courses. Queries will be filtered for relevance, and can be responded by students and SMEs.

Course Feedback

Students can give any number of anonymous but constructive feedback on technical, academic or any other problem faced in the course.

Virtual Programming Lab

VPL activities provide a self-learning Interactive Development Environment, as well as a tool for formative assessment in CS subjects

Suitable for multiple domains

Today, M.Tech, B.Tech, Diploma and Applied Science aspirants vie for the same opportunities at the same time. The level of tests, and questions is also same/similar. Core2Learn can be a wonderful leveler for students who may be disadvantaged academically for whatever reason. They can now catch up and upgrade their knowledge that wee bit, to coast past placement tests and secure their cherished opportunity.

Multiple Implementation Options

Core2Learn can be implemented in a Self-Learn, or Faculty-Guided mode. The Guided mode features weekly Review Sessions per subject, for doubt clearing, and Interview Practice, whereas in the Self-Learn mode students have to follow the weekly Preparation schedule all by themselves.

Achievement-based Course Flow Control

Learning progression (Lessons and Assessments) follows a logical, controlled flow within a Topic or Section where successive modules are accessed only upon completion of preceding modules and where completion means achieving a grade.

Course Mastery

The Course Mastery Block is a gamification block which awards points for each completed activity, which reflect in the LeaderBoard. in addition, the Dashboard CM scores aggregate scores for all enrolled courses.

Kaun Banega Lakhpati

The KBL game requires students to answer questions from the entire syllabus and move up the padestals to the Top score.

Certificate of Performance

A verifiable, live certificate displays the ongoing completion and subject competency for each course.

StudentQuiz

Students can create customised quiz for themselves by selecting Topics or Section tags and test their performance. Students can create challengng questions for the community, rate and answer community-created questions. An excellent quest for the inquistive!

How will C2L-Campus be implemented?

Implementation process starts after the Institute and 2Learn finalise the scope and understanding.

  1. Finalise the Branch, Subjects, Modules, Sessions, mode of delivery, and number of enrolments in respective branches.
  2. Finalise session flow and components, and measures of success – score, feedback etc.
  3. Orientation to teachers, who in turn will orient their students
  4. Bulk enrolment of students and teachers to respective courses.
  5. kickoff and Rollout.

Can I reorganise the Review Sessions for C2L-Campus?

For Guided Mode, the Institute can reorganise the scope and composition of Review Sessions as per their conveniece.

Should the content in some sessions appear excessive or lengthy, subject to time and effort availability the Institute Teacher can re-organize them for best outcomes.

How do I get C2L for my college

Please reach out to us on info@eduneev.in

expressing your interest in these programs. C2L pricing is quite nominal compared to other JRPs

Is C2L for Diploma and Applied Sciences also?

Nowadays aspirants across several qualification domains and levels compete for the same jobs. It is not uncommon to find BSc, MSc, Diploma, BCA, MCA, B.Tech and MTech aspirants vying for same opportunities. Therefore Core2Learn courses are equally suitable for all students of Engineering and Applied Sciences since the concepts are taught from very basics.

Moreover, students of Diploma and Applied Science could benefit more as they will be able to demonstrate their knowledge depth strategically – they will know more than what is usually expected off them, and therefore gain confidence of the prospective employer.

What is Section Programming Quiz?

SPQ present a Interactive development Environment to solve 5 ordered or randomly selected coding challenges at Section level. Scores are deducted for incorrect submissions, and reflect in the gradebook
